Hey guys, how are you doing?
If you follow our blog you must know that I like keeping a written record of the LG history. (Okay, I still haven’t written about 2014 but I’ll catch up with that one soon…lol).
On Friday 2nd of October 2015 we played a gig at The Barfly. It was our biggest attendance to date and we were all very much looking forward to play that show. That afternoon, around 4pm when we were getting ready to go to the venue I had a home accident and hurt my foot really badly. It hurt like f*** and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so much pain in my life.
Thanks God we had some ice cubes in the freezer, my flat mate Puma had some bandage in the house and our friend Anderson was with us when the accident happened and helped me out with his first aid skills!
One hour later we were ready to go to the venue and I was in a lot of pain!
The show was fantastic and the crowd was brilliant! Although I had to sit down to play the usual energy from a LOST GRAVITY show was present on stage! Giuliano and David rocked harder than ever and we put on another awesome show!
After the show the feedback we had was amazing! Some people who were at the back said they didn’t even notice that I was sitting down during our set…lol

The next day my foot looked like a balloon and after a sleepless night coz of the pain I went to the hospital to have my foot checked. The scan showed 2 broken bones and the docs said I needed a surgery to get this fixed as soon as possible.
So here I am, writing this blog from home as I recover from surgery. Everything went well thanks God! and we will be back on stage rocking hard very soon! 😉 In fact our next show is on the 12th of December at The Black Heart (Camden Town). If you’re reading this before that date you can buy your tickets clicking here. You can see below a few photos from the Barfly show. Such a great night!
I would like to sign off saying thanks to all of you who have supported me throughout this whole time! My family, flat mates and close friends for being there for me every day! Thanks to everyone who couldn’t be here in person but called or sent me a support message. Thanks to everyone who has wished me well and prayed for a speedy recovery. You know who you are and you really make the difference everyday!
Finally I would like to say an extra special thanks to everyone at UCH. You guys are the best! Specially the team of surgeons and nurses from T6 North! I’ve been in England long enough and I know many people like to complain about NHS. For those of you who complain here’s my message: these people are angels on Earth, respect! I am very grateful to have been in their care when I was in hospital!
That’s all for now, folks. Thanks for reading.
